Horizon

Thus, when we see the focus necessary to sustain the giving of concentration it will inevitably show us how to be free and then to surrender our nature more fully.

On the line of the horizon all things flow outwards and from within so that is how we feel when we allow ourselves to experience the union with that expression of consciousness.

When we lose sight of the shore, it is natural to fall into a state of panic and to feel ourselves being washed out to sea, we loose gravity and a sense of identity in the floating and movement of the rhythmic rise and fall of the waves. But there is the horizon and we can still ourselves along it by being conscious of the dynamics of the horizontal aspect and our place, as a marker, a beacon, along that line focusing and breaking the anxiety and being one with it.

As we observe our inner horizon we may notice that the configuring of it does not correspond effectively with the line located before our eyes, that within we are out of balance with the external horizon.

Think first that perhaps the external is out of line, that perhaps our internal compass is righting itself with a pole that is beyond what is in our line of sight.

Before we realign ourselves and our thinking to an external measure, let us first understand where our point of reference lies and to focus outward.

For it may be, well it is most likely that the shift has taken us beyond a frame of reference of the horizon before our eyes to a point inside us and its alignment with a much greater point of reference above. We mention our place in relation to the horizon, but we turn our attention both within and project it outside to find a deeper, more elevated, more firm guiding principle upon which to tether ourselves.

We are the beacon and in taking this position as a guiding principle made firm by a higher point of connection we help to tether and connect this to the web of humanity through consciousness.
